To all getting my stainless exhaust tip samples.
I apologize but these will not be shipping. This was part of a social engineering project I have been working on and now that I have my data (which is not flattering).........
Just kidding ![]() ![]() ![]() Anyway, they are going out today and you're all getting the same thing. Two pieces of 2-1/2" x .047" wall 304 s.s. tubes @ 8.000" long with a 120 grit industrial satin polish(translation...nothing special). I or you could do a mirror finish if you like with further polishing, but I am just trying to get feedback and no one wants the same thing. One of you guys requested 3.000" and I will gladly send that out later if you still want it, but I just don't have any in stock right now so I sent these 2-1/2" pieces. Let me know. Thanks guys and let me know your thought when you get, install them. ![]()

Thanks Joel!!! I'll watch for it 'em. They look sweet! PM me with any costs you may have incurred. I'd be happy to cover them.
BTW you had me going until you got to the "Social Engineering Project" part. LOL!

No charges, don't worry about it. "Pay it forward" as they say.

I got the tips yesterday and my initial reaction is SWEEEEET!!! Now, I'm gonna polish them out before I install them. So it might be a little while before you hear back from me. I have some other fires I have to put out first. But thanks again Joel..
Maybe our paths will cross sometime this summer. I'm just over here in Lansing and we usually take a couple trips down to South Haven every summer. Are you going to the Charity Car show in Grand Rapids tomorrow?

Glad you like em, if you have a belt sander, try a 180 grit dry followed by an oiled 240 grit belt. This will get you pretty close with little work.
Anyway, I had not heard of the charity auction believe it or not, where is it? I have a golf tourney in the A.M., but we'll see. You going?

I don't have a belt sander but I think my neighbor does. I'll check it out. Here is the link to that car show:
Charity Car Show - Near Grand Rapids MI April 22nd I won't be there cause I have a Thomas the Train thing tomorrow for the kids in Detroit. Maybe, I'll make it next year if they do it again.

Yeah, that is funny. You are the 4th person I've run across that is doing the Thomas thing. One guy on here was trying to go tomorrow too but it was sold out by the time he was buying tickets. I hope it isn't too crazy down there I'm not much of a big crowd type person.
