Time to retire the clothes basket!
I know what you're thinking: "what's the big deal about a clothes basket?"
 The deal is planned obsolescence. My mother carried me as an infant in this basket with warm clothes. I'm 38 years old, so this basket has been used for over 38 years. It's rare for a new basket to make it a few years. I've heard this is because they put more UV protection additive in plastic back in the 60's before they realized the object would last too long. My wife just informed me that it's dead. I guess I'll cut the bottom off and have another drip pan.

I still have the cardboard box from an $800 external macintosh hardrive (40 meg from 1985?) Drive long gone..... Now I call it my $800 storage box.

What is that thing? What happened to throwing stuff on the closet floor? I'm single again.... My clothes basket doesn't have any dirty clothes, but it does have a bunch of other useless stuff in it.
