Mainland Chinese menus >>very funny!
These menus are genuine and from a restaurant at a hotel in China....they have translated the literal meaning of the Chinese word, hence it reads very funny ! The guy could'nt understand why we were cracking up when he came to take the order ......

I didn't know that the monetary symbol in China was the same as the symbol for Yen in Japan.
How in the hell did you order anything. only a few of the items make any sense at all.

i think all the asian characters are based on the same shapes. i always wanted to start a company that simply proofed chinese menus. i could make a fortune, with the restaurants in the USA alone. my parents had a restaurant, and their menu was jacked!

Ordered the egg sand
We figured that the sand was a sandwich which it was and egg made sense....Napoleon Powder turned out to be Spaghetti !! go figure .

Looks like a pretty good price on Italy, but only if they throw in Sicily as a side.
Edit: added stuff The Chinese currency is the Yuan RenMinBi. The symbol is 元 it is also used by Taiwan and on HSBC issued Hong Kong notes. Maybe they use the ¥ because it is more recognizable to many than the proper symbol.
