Amnesty.....just wondering...
 

Posted a remark in another thread and decided to start a new one.

So, if this (BS) amnesty thing passes, does that mean all of the folks from countries other than the Mexico/South American regions be granted amnesty as well? What about the German engineer working for Mercedes USA and wants to naturalize? What about the Russian mail order bride that the desparate dater purchased. Finally, what about the doods who have "Mohammed" in their name and are visiting from the middle-East?

If so, do we risk a threat of terrorist citizens? Can we really assume the Governments will do their diligence in doing background checks on 12 million people? I know for a fact there are violent felons in the group of 12 million. Will they be screened and deported? Or will they become citizens?

If not, has the Government created classism and racism against other nationalities?

My guess is that them amnesty stunt has nothing to do with people, but everything to do with votes....

I find Senator Graham's (R-South Carolina) vote in support of the Amnesty for illegals puzzling. He's not going to get any votes from that here in South Carolina.

America is being invaded and the federal government does nothing. Thanks Gawd the Russians didn't figure this out in the '60's, all they had to do was to not carry guns and send 5-6 million unarmed soldiers westward and they'd have conquered most of europe.

With amnesty comes a green card, with a green card comes citizenship, with citizenship is the ability to sponsor your parents, children and siblings to come to the good 'ol USA. (Ahead of those who speak English, have college educations, have broken no laws and are patiently waiting.) All of this cost to society paid by the taxes and FICA by those working "the jobs Americans don't want to do". Somehow, it does not add up.

A grand design, maybe? Don't know, but it's looking like it more everyday.

This country could use another special interest group. More redistribution of earned income is no big deal. Less incentive to work will create more jobs.

The huge near future influx of 60yr+ old illegals can share in the huge social security fund that the US doesn't have. WTF, Mexico doesn't even have any legit SS. They should all move to the socialist capital of the US called NY. An increasing deficit of upper income earners and businesses leaving for other states due to increasing taxes can be worked out by raising taxes further on the less than $75k crowd.. let's all party hearty.

How's about coming down here and gathering all the displaced yankees and taking them to soCal to be with you, Wayne?
