Unsubscribe from ALL threads? WHY?

Dammit all, I've clicked on the wrong link in one of my Pelican topic update notification emails... again. This is the third time in the last year. I just wanted to get off one of Mul's wacko-attacko threads and now I've gotta go and find all the threads I was interested and re-subscribe.

Am I the only one having this problem? Couldn't the "unsubscribe-all" option be in the user control panel and not in the emails? Sure would make my life easier.

I don't use e-mail notification myself.

You can either write things down on a Post-It note, or click your own profile and click "see all post by this user" to see your most recent threads.

Mul is not on my ignore list, I just ignore him and skip his posts.

He does know how to stink up a thread, ignore him and maybe he will go away.:)

You'll only get notification of threads you've subscribed to. So uncheck notification on all your posts and unsubscribe as notifications come in from prior threads and your inbox will be free of that stuff.

It's too bad notification takes place when someone on your 'ignore' list posts. vBulletin really should address that.

Well, I really like having the notifications, thats not what Im complaining about.

What I don't like is that there is an "unsubscribe all" link right underneath the regular "unsubscribe from this thread" link. Every so often I hit that "all" link and it kills _all_ my notifications when I just wanted to kill the one thread.
