An ordinary video cam in a crappy plastic shopping bag works - or you can get an IP camera to motion detect and send emails or write to a hard disk.
If its at work ask security for access to tapes.
Put the word about that the car is under survielance.
At worst sleep in a friends car next to it with baseball bats

Stevo, can you recommend a IP camera with motion detect? I might be moving soon and would like to hook that up in the detached garage. Are any of the cameras wireless?

Thanks

Logitech QucikCam Pro 4000 has motion sensing windows software... of course, you'll have to have a laptop to record to, etc. There are also various motion sensing software for Linux systems using various cameras.

I read the other day about a camera that records on digital media - worth a search for one with a high card capacity.
Trouble is that video for a long time means tape or dvd so the price is up because of that.
I've often thought that in car recording (last 2 hours driving front side and back plus interior) would be a great thing to disprove claims against you in an accident.
Trouble is when its produced the Government will make it compulsory and use it to nail you for speeding etc etc.
It cant be very long before it arrives.
