Anyone in Kingwood, Texas?
I'm bidding on an ebay item that the seller is unwilling to ship to Canada. It's an adapter plate & flywheel.. 20lb & relatively bulky. If I win, would anyone out there be willing to pick it up and ship it via USPS for me? Tell me what you think is fair for your time & effort. I'll be able to pay you by paypal.
Auction ends saturday afternoon.

anyone? I don't want to bid again unless I can make arrangements.
I really don't understand the seller's issue. If he's shipping by USPS, what diff does it make if he sends to California, Texas, Maine or Canada?

Jake;
I think Kingswood is around Houston, as I remember. If you get really stuck, ship it to me in California, and I'll forward it on from here. Some eBayers don't like shipping to Canada because there is no recourse thru eBay if something goes wrong. PM me if you'd like to do this, I'll gladly pass it along at cost.

Jake - Kingswood is in Dallas County, Southwest of Dallas by about 20 minutes. I would be glad to help you out but this weekend is real tight and I will be in Houston Monday and Tuesday. What exactly do you need done? If it is just about picking up a part and shipping to you, we may be able to figuer something out. Shipping to Canada can be pricey.

Thanks Mike... if the price is right on the adapter, I'd just have it shipped to your place and then you can ship it to me at your convenience. So far it looks like I could be saving $2-300 US, so a bit of shipping cost would be worth it for me.
And thanks for the offer singpilot.

Kingwood is northeast of Houston on HWY 59(though there could be more than one, Texas is pretty big). I did my residency there, and am very familiar with the area. It is in Harris Co, I remember when it was annexed(they were none too happy about it.

Get a Zip Code - Texas seems to have a few towns that repeat.
