DSTAR = Dog Star? or Class D Star? One has unimaginable mass and gravitational pull that consumes yet does not contribute only to become a gas giant...the other is small and insignificant compared to other heavenly bodies…

Then again, perhaps DSTAR fancies himself to be that of Sirius – AKA Dog Star, that of orbital irregularities and Sirius was commonly thought to cause madness in 18th century. He seems to be living up nicely to his tag!

I thought DStar was a fat chick.

No, DSTAR has been hanging out at Pelican for the last few days along with a lot of folks from http://914club.com The 914Club site was down for a few days and we needed a place to hang out.

DSTAR has caused a few threads in our "Sandbox" to be closed. The Sandbox is our off-topic forum. The one rule that we have is "no politics" but we do allow tasteful nudity. You must be a member to view the Sandbox :)

Hey, is that why Sirius (satellite radio)has a dog with a star over it's eye for a logo?

It is...both bands had one by that name....different songs...

Pretty interesting star actually - thousands of years ago it was thought to be a red giant then recently it appears to have changed color - some think it is actually a binary star while others think that the reference to the star being "red" was more to discribe it as a star of war and not of actual color.

reminds me of the race draft on chappele show....
