Isn't there a bunch of those "Casino buses" from the big cities?

Not sure what you're trying to do, but I'd Amtrak it from Beantown to NYC and bus it from there. Actually look at Amtrak, they have some kind of bus connection themselves to get you to AC and back. Then train back to DC (or the Chinatown bus if you spent all your $).

A.C. INTL Airport is about 15 min from the casinos and downtown AC. They also have a major train station that NJ Transit runs to. Pretty easy to get there from NYC.

If you want PM me for some details.

Do you have to stop in AC? If you fly through Newark airport, it may be easier to get connecting flights and such...

I tried to post before but it didn't take....

The Acela (High Speed train) runs from Boston to DC. An option is to stop off at Philly and take another train to AC (1.5 hours each way).

IMO, the Acel is great since you board without the BS of an Airport and can work in a nice environment. The tables and power ports are great.

yeah, this is somewhat tricky and a pain in the ass... what i'm trying to accomplish is to get myself from DC to AC and back while bringing in someone from Boston to AC and back to Boston. not easy and esp. not cheap. round trip boston/ac is $2k

i may abandon the whole project all together.

Who are you bringing in, Royalty? Tell them (her to rent a car and drive to meet you. Or, ship them to philly or somewhere you'll pass by and pick them up.

2K for round trip?? Then again it would probably cost that in gas if you drove it!

According to Amtrak the Acela is between $69 to $171, one-way, from Boston to Philly. The regional train takes just under 6 hours. The express is an hour less.

DC to Philly is 1.5 hours and between $54 and $141.

A regular train from Philly to AC is $7.25 each way. Trip duration is 1.5 hours each way.
