2006 F1 at Indy
 

Everyone, this year a friend and I are going to make the pilgrimage for our first F1 race. We've found plenty of options for tickets (last year didn't help sell tickets this year) but we need some advice on hotel rooms and activities (Porsche related or not)for Saturday night, Sunday and Monday. We are staying over into Monday for the NIN concert. Please respond to the post or PM me.

A lot of the teams stay downtown at the Adams Mark. Make sure you get down there Friday and Saturday night after the races. Hang around the lobby and the hotel bar. You WILL see lots of racers and their entourages! And don't forget to check out the Red Garter ;)

This years hot spot will be the Conrad Hilton, the new hotel downtown. Check the local PCA web site for more information on all the P-car events. There are plenty. The local PCA club hosts a dinner sponsered by the National PCA and the Supercup teams. There is a car coral and a parade. It really is a good time. The guest speaker at the dinner is Vic Elford.

I see you are from OKC. My brother usually drives out for the race and he lives in Edmond. We have been to the race the last 5 years.
