I posted here a few days ago to ask you people how you could stand this forum because it as an absolute zoo. I said that I banned myself and after coming back I wondered what I was thinking coming back.
However I must have been misunderstood.

There is no way in hell you bunch of crankyankers typing on computers hurt my feelings as if I had any. My mistake was falling into some of the political posts. How some folks come by some of the crap they believe is well, unbelievable.

Pelican OT is blast because people don't hold back, and the moderators are not overbearing. People say some hard edge stuff here, but its never threatening.

I might think Mul and fintstone are right wing nutters, but I will certainly buy them a beer if I ever met them.

I make it a point not to click on threads that are politics related. If one turns politics ralated then I hit the back button.

Then there are not too many threads and some fun ones instead.

OT is a riot. I love coming here and reading the threads. Almost as funny as Comedy Central.

Hey man, if you just exclude the political threads, then the average IQ per post goes up dramatically. Lots of very smart people on PPOT and I've gotten some genuinely great advice here almost no matter what I've asked...legal, financial, real estate, health, home improvement...even cars...maybe the mods need to add a "politics" ignore button that works the same way the "member" ignore button works.

There's a section on RE, World events, Food, Booze, Guns, Politics, investing, comedians, cranky old farts, Even a Medical section with very little if any wait.
Even the new moderator has a way with words :D And the list goes on.
