I know, I know... roundy round racing but it is the most famous and historic race in the US of A.
I plan on having lots (make that a whole lot) of icy beer on hand and invite some NASCAR friends over (that is if they are not too drunk at one in the afternoon to leave their house ![]() But hey 220+ MPH not too shabby! I'm voting old school and hope Marco Andretti wins! Who do you vote for?

Hornish is my neighbors's cousin, and is from Defiance Ohio, so I have to root for the local guy!

I'll be in the Aurie Lyundyke suite.
I'll be loaded, but since I'll be with Letterman/Rahal, I guess I'll have to root for Danica.

Danica...for a couple of reasons:
1) The only poster I have in my garage is of her. 2) She's the local gal. 3) Have you seen her? Damn! 4) She's a talented rookie who deserves a win.

I hope Danica doesn't win it. Although I rarely rarely route for anyone to not win. There i something about her attitude rather elusive that I don't like.
I'm hoping Dan manages to take a second win.

but check you local listings 2pm is the live local time.... rebroadcast next Friday night on speed... if it was live on speed you would be seeing it at way to early in the morning...but you can see the GP2 race live at 3am Sunday morning. Indy broadcast starts at 9am and race is at 10am PST i think...haven't checked the local listing since they changed the race start time this year to try to improve the number of viewers...and i don't know if they finally went on daylight savings time in Indiana... other left turn race starts at 530est...

Thanks Ted, I'll set up my satellite DVR when I get home.
I like Danica and I wouldn't mind seeing her win, I think her preceived "attitude" is just over blown media hype. and I like Eddie Cheever just because it is nice to see a guy my age out on the track. ![]() Then there is Bryan Herta who lives in Calif. so I guess that makes him the local boy. So I got Marco, Danica, Eddie, Bryan... why yes... I am hedging my bets. ![]()

As if they all didn't have ego's as big as all get out, she's a guttys gal and she drives as good as the guys. She just knows how to market herself and obviously the female situation gives her all the attention. She can't help that but she sure knows how to make it work for herself. I give the guys credit for not *****ing. ![]() |

Well, I'm a mechanic and inside front tyre changer on Tony Kanaan's no. 11 Dallara. I kinda hope if you don't have a favorite for the 500 that y'all would root for a fellow pelican!
BTW: Ruebens is wearing Tony's helmet paint scheme at Monaco this weekend and visa-versa, try to bring each other some luck!

Isn't Michael Andretti running this weekend? If he is, I'm pulling for him to win one for a change (as a driver).
