Murtha accuses Marines of war crimes
A Democratic [Murtha] lawmaker yesterday accused U.S. Marines of killing many innocent Iraqi civilians "in cold blood" after a Marine comrade was slain by a roadside bomb.
Officials have said 15 Iraqis, eight insurgents and a Marine were killed during a Nov. 19 firefight that began when a roadside bomb detonated next to a joint Iraqi-U.S. squad patrolling the city of Haditha. But Rep. John P. Murtha of Pennsylvania, a retired Marine colonel, said at a press conference yesterday that a Pentagon war-crimes investigation would show that "there was no firefight." "Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood," Mr. Murtha told reporters. "And that's what the [Pentagon] report is going to tell." The whole invasion was and is a war crime, however, one can hope that the little fuhrer-decider in the White House will be in the dock right alongside those Marines when the time comes. |

Hopefully this lady will put that nutjob SOB out to pasture. Plus, she's a hell of a lot better looking.

On Memorial weekend, Murtha should have said nothing more than "Our military men and women aren't perfect, but they are damn fine and our country should be proud..." He could have went on to describe our great military and the sacrifices they and their families have made...He did not...He used his weekend to denigrate our military and cheapen their memories.

[B]So you, like Murtha, agree that the Marines in question are guilty before trial?... Yes, the Marines are guilty, since I'm not on the jury, I don't have to hold my decision until the end of the trial. The evidence is overwhelming. Quote:

Huh - a Mul/Fastpat debate.
Seems a lot like a matter-antimatter reaction. There's a lot of energy released, and it will probably result in a black hole, but it still just doesn't make any sense. |
There is no debate here. Patsy is defending a traitor. I accept that. I expect no less from his virulent strain of libertarianism.
Murtha's slander was uncalled for on Memorial day, or any other day for that matter, but especially Memorial day...Murtha intentionally drives down morale and undermines recruiting, and then highlights low enlistment (due to folks like himself and his buddies in the media) rates for partisan gain...He conveniently forgets that RE-enlistment rates are high, suggesting that the military he mouthes support for are not on his page. |

Patsy...You disgrace our military. You should be ashamed of yourself. Your rhetoric serves only those you oppose most. You are a tactical fool and endanger our great country.

And it looks like it may be. What then? |

You Mul are a liar and distorter. That story by the Moonie paper is dated May 18, not Memorial Day weekend. Go spread your lies elsewhere. If you would ever take the time to listen to Murtha you would hear him blame the Bush regime for keeping our brave men in a position of peril that they end up taking such action as this. Go spead your filth and slander elsewhere.
