Brave, Independent Sir Dubya
Dub-Yuh The Brave just warned Iran that if it does not stop enriching uranium, he will consider snitching to the UN Security Council. I can hardly type with my body shaking from the chuckles. I guess this is how we deal with decent-sized countries who misbehave. Small sized ones.......we just invade them to show how much more powerful and fair we are compared to the UN.
Anybody see irony in this, or is it just PURE embarassment?

Actually, as long as I can remember, the governments of many nations behave like children. They have tantrums, they lash out, they threaten and bully. And they think talk of punishment is the way to get their way. It's absolutely ridiculous behavior.

Hmm, not so far-fetched to think some people just have something against him no matter what he does. And I'm one of the 60 percent. |

This development can be evaluated on its own objective merits (or lack thereof). It is completely obfuscating to bring into the analysis any aspect of who hates who. Unnecessary and confusing.
But for the record, I do want everyone to be aware that I have detested this young Bush idiot/coward ever since the very first instant I laid eyes on him. I liked his dad, actually. Good example of how to use, and how not to use, the military option. His child is an insecure dolt.

Iran is just 13 years earlier in the process than Iraq.

There's a reason Bush usually succeeds with his agenda. Even in his early days the Rep Congress took bs from him. If you can't see how he plays you'll never see what he wants to accomplish beyond rhetoric.
fwiw.. Iran is a revolution waiting to happen. The rulers have only 20% population support. Old info is that the various revolutionary groups had no specific center. The US was attempting to encourage a big get together while informing the populace of world events. Hopefully things have improved but since I lost my Pentagon password I can't confirm. Anyway, there will be no bombing or invasion. Worst case is containment and wait for the revolution. Iran is nothing similar to N Korea's dictatorship.
