It really doesn't matter what you folks, "think". It is all about the money, who controls it and who gets to appropriate it.

For every Robert Byrd there is a Trent Lott.

People vote largely in their own self interest...."my guy" is going to bring home the bacon. Intellectual NPR funding and HR XXX votes are petty diversions while both parties fleece.

Establish term limits, reform budget riders and please, pay f'ing attention through your vote.
