The wives of P-car owners!!

This is WCC's account and he said it was ok to do this so this is his wife talking in this thread. He promised me that he will not reply in this thread.

I would like the wives, girlfriends, etc. of P-car owners to reply.

I was just curious if you all could share with me the amount of time that your husbands spend with their cars?
Even though my husband does spend quite a bit of time in the garage doing whatever with his cars, I do not feel neglected. Actually, I think what he is doing is constructive and a great hobby that one day he can share his knowledge of P-cars with our son.

Now, let's talk about shoes, purses, jewelry, etc. It would be really nice to hear from you chicks and let's talk about whatever!

Sandy

EDIT: Wayne you should have a BBS for just the significant others of P-car owners. Just a suggestion.

Give up the keyboard to the chicks! It's time to hear something from the girls behind the scenes. I got an AWESOME recipe for Sangrias. I'd be willing to share to the chicks. Maybe if they make a couple drinks for themselves they would post a reply.

Bill, you're kidding right? I mean, you want the topic here to be about "shoes, purses, and jewelery"??? What'll be next? Politics? Sheesh!

Hey Sandy!

Legion's wife here, I second that motion! Frankly, when my husband talks about cars, my ears fall off. Not that I don't care, but it's like he's speaking a whole different language... Now, jewelry, I understand!

I know I promised my wife I wouldn't post in here, but I just wanted her (legion's wife) to know that she went to bed and that she'll check it out tomorrow. She sees the wonderful people that I have met on this board and she would like to be a part of it. That's all. I personally hope this thread doesn't offend anyone.

This is Bill talking now..........

Whoa there, Bill.
Dude, this is our sanctum. We can't be having girls in here. (grid girls don't count)

Actually, I don't care either way. My wife doesn't even open the email notifications from Pelican because she figures it's MY business.

This is an ugly place full of men (the most verbose) driven by insecurity stemming from either:

Shortness
Baldness
Extreme political / religeuos bias
Small penis syndrome

or

General feelings of inadequacy. No place for a woman,

Hi Sandy!! So glad you wrote - I think there are quite a few women on this board ... some post - some lurk. Although this is a forum mostly made up of guys, I think it's neat to hear from the women too - especially those that support and are enthusiastic about the whole "car thing". There are some guys that will find this as trotting on their territory but who's to say that Porsches are all about men? Most of the guys are nice although there are some mean ones out there but I don't think that should stop women from posting here

Chris and I have been together for 11 years and just celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary He spends quite a bit of time with Phoebe and Polly (our Porsches) and I don't mind 99% of the time - It keeps him occuppied and happy and that's important to me. Our son who is 18mths old already knows "steering wheel" "gauges" "racecar" "vroomvroom" and is comfortable wearing earmuffs at races.

and the sangria recipe??? I'm up for it!!

I think though that this thread may die due to non-participation but that's ok too - it was worth it for a bit
