How much are 60'-80' oak trees worth?

Some guy wants to buy a dozen of my larger Oaks and Maples. They are probably 70 foot tall on average. I doubt I'll sell anyway, but what are they worth to a mill?

Thanks guys, though I must admit I have no idea how many "board feet on the stump" I have I was told that my trees were good for veneer.

According to the landscape architects and landscapers we work with you cannot transplant Oak trees larger than 6"-8" sucessfully. They will not take.

Even with the 6-8" there is a 8 week root pruning process and then a 4 week watering peroid before the tree can be removed. %50 survival rate under optimal conditions.

I saw this the other day on some show. Mega Machines or something.

their websites says no tree's too big to transplant.

Hehe, yeah, I was thinking multiple Chinook helicopters, but that would work.

Indeed too big (for realistic moving). They want mine for veneer and lumber. Maybe poles?

Anyway, the guy offered $180 a tree and that ain't gonna happen.
