If it's the classifieds there is a sticky at the top of the page explaining why the crackdown on replies. If it's just threads, then check to see if your cookies are turned on. My wife accidently logged me out recently and I had to go back and log in.

If you can post more then one reply every 30 seconds then you type way too fast.

Try typing with both fingers like the rest of us!

That 30 sec mechanism is designed to prevent SPAM, among other nuisances.

Pelican Parts has a "SPECIAL" device that can read your thoughts...and if they are paticularily negative then the Post Blocker goes into effect.

Wayne didn't like something I posted once and he came over to my house and gave me the worst wedgie I've ever had in my life. Pulled my waistband up past my ears and hung me from the top of my wrought iron fence.

If you're not local to Pelican you don't have to worry about that, though.
