My cut and paster stopped working - Firefox-Mozilla

Help! My cut and paste stopped working with Mozilla-Firefox. I tried IE and it works fine there. I downloaded the newest version of Mozilla-Firefox and that didn't help. I looked through all the properties etc. and didn't see any way to change a setting. Any ideas? Thom? Thanks in advance.

You might need to reboot your pc.

How about some specifics...?

Firefox Version?
Windows or Mac Version?
Credit Card/Checking Account Number? (hehehe, just kidding...!)

BTW, have you seen this? Don't know if it helps you or not, but it may point you in the right direction.

From the link...
Please remember: if it seems to still not work, you may be infected by a certain mean-spirited malware known as advertisemen, see here *link provided on actual page* for removal directions.

What the link tells you to do...
Using the uninstall feature in the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel will not work, so you need to do something else to get rid of this nasty software.

* Run "regedit.exe"
* Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
* On the right-hand side you should see a String called “AppInit_DLLs” with a value of “pushow*.dll” where * is a random number.
* Right-click on this String and click Delete and then exit regedit.
* Open "C:\windows\system32\"
* In that folder there is a file called "pushow*.dll," where * is the random number you saw above. Delete all pushow*.dll files.
