Remember the scene in one of the Adams Family movies where Gmoez is driving golf balls from his deck?
Judge: [after a golf ball is hit through his window] Damn you, Addams!
Gomez: Sorry about the window, Judge. Keep the ball, I have a whole bucket full.
Judge: You moron!

Spray the word 'fore!' in roundup on his "teebox".

Make sure to bang his wife too.

dhoward 06-18-2006 06:35 AM

...and his daughter.

Put the balls in a box or bag, and take them to his house when you know he is home. Say, "I thought you might want these back." Then you inform him how you came to have them in your posession. Maybe he doesn't realize that there is a house on the other side of the woods behind his house. If you continue to find golf balls raining on your yard, then the next step would be to file a complaint at the local PD.

I think thats twice for the daughter.

Yep, a canon that fires golf balls would be the most fun, but a talk should probably be first.

wow, some interesting ideas here. that's what i love about this board. i can always come here for some good advice and tips!

anyway: lawyers, i avoid them like the plague. if there's a small problem with a neighbor, i agree it's best to try and talk reasonable first.
hopefully the neighbors are "reasonable" and stop shooting those balls. how would they like it if their house was bombarded?

i'm going over tomorrow and discussing the matter. not looking forward to it, though. they have a couple of mean looking junkyard dogs. a few times my wife and i were on a walk by their house, and they were barking at us ... we'll see.

And that's the last we'll ever hear from on-ramp . . .

Better duct-tape a thick layer of those VeryFineBooks around your legs/crotch area. I'd go about 200 pages for smallish junkyard dogs; big toothy hounds should get 300+ pages.

If diplomacy doesn't work, you could try this.

I hope this works. None of the kids are here to show me how.
