Breville Espresso Machine at Williams Sonoma
Anyone have experience or comments regarding this machine?
http://ww2.williams-sonoma.com/cat/pip.cfm?skus=7176845&pkey=xsrd0m2%7C15%7C0%7C%7C%7C%7C%7C%7Cespresso&gids=sku7176845&cmsrc=sch The more I research these machines the worse my headache gets with analysis/paralysis and I've got a line on this machine for a nice discount as well as any other machine at Williams Sonoma. Comments/suggestions? I've done the search and looking for some ideas in $4-$5 hundred range or less.

Moses--I have read both of those sites from front to back and am paralyzed by the amount of info--lol. I need some solid recommendations by fellow Porsche owners which for some reason I trust. My mom works at W/S so Im going with their brands.

I can highly recommend the Rancilio Silvia in the same price range as the W-S item.
The Rancilio has been a fantastic, trouble free little machine for us. ![]() Tim |

Yes the Rancilio machine scores well on the review boards. I'll take a look at that one.

Coffeegeek is super serious but they have valuable information. Don't forget to budget for a _good_ burr grinder unless you get a superautomatic (built-in grinder). You really get what you pay for there. An extra hundred there now will save headaches and frustration later. mike '78SC |

I have no experience with the Breville coffee maker - but have a lot of other Breville appliances and like them very much. Breville is out of Australia and a damn fine product. I replaced a lot of Cusinart crap (toaster, coffee maker, blender etc etc) with Breville earlier this year and we are very pleased with this company. Very nice quality and design.

Well I picked up the Breville today from my mom and I'm very excited to start experimenting with it. I have some Illy pods and some Illy Espresso fine grind grounds to try. So far I am impressed with the product. It was very well packaged with a beautiful stainless steel exterior. I've bee reading through the owners manual and it seems to be well written and simple to use. More details to follow.

Nothing like a Salvatore Espresso machine. Handbuilt in the USA. U order a machine and inside it has YOUR name on it. Anything else is JUNK. http://www.salvatore-espresso.com/
