I love the whole "Diebold" myth. Democrats needed to cover their lie that "Bush stole the election", so they demanded ballot reform. Nevermind that they controlled the ballot and how it was laid out, they needed to cover their lie of a stolen election. They then demanded electronic voting and Diebold offers a solution. To further their class-warfare hate strategy, they start ramping up the Diebold anti-propaganda, just in case. The Democrats put forth another horrible candidate and even the media couldn't keep him alive. Kerry lost. The democrats needed to resurrect the lie, and further it, that Bush stole yet another election, and so they concocted that Diebold was somehow complicit in stealing the 2004 election.

The Democrats were right, the elections were being tampered with. The Democrats were the tamperers attempting to steal the election, making up a story to cover their tracks.

The Dems held Congress till 94.

Which makes me wonder..

What happened to the "Contract with America"?, promising smaller government and less involvement with individual freedoms?

What happened to the Jeffersonian Republicans? Where are they?

News about multiple convictions of Democrats around the country were suppressed by the media. If it was the other way around, the media would have trumpeted the news.

Reps almost full control of the Feds corrupted the image that they came to power with. The power allowed $ control of Congress. The combo of Bush's tax stimulation and Greenspan's open faucet towards liquidity enabled the whole Rep beltway circus.

IMO the Reps won't even have to go back to their basic message as the Dems are doing all the work for them getting elected.

It was a time when the Woodstock generation became a political force. They chanted that they could and would change the world. The only problem with the theory is that progressive thought is always changing to the new populist beat. Any change creates tension. Tension is easily manipulated into anger aimed at the political enemy. Try asking anyone over 50 how many times they got loaded/week when they were young. Peace Pot and Rock&Roll for everyone and the world would be a better place. If that's not doable lets support the far left.
