For future reference the proper etiquette is to title your post something generic like "World Cup Final results" and tag it as "Spoiler" or something. That way those who have not watched yet don't see the results just by viewing the forum list.

I appreciate the apology. I'm just frustrated as a result of knowing the results of knowing the final top 4 standings before watching either of the final two games. Tivo has been my enemy through this WC.

Ya know I don't follow soccer but I do the Tour De France and I was caught by something like this just the other day. I just don't understand what compels people to become reporters.
All of us are smart enough to know where to go to find results and this certainly isn't the place. So I guess I honestly CAN'T understand it.....

Back in New England!

I wonder if the French people will ever forgive Zidane.
I thought Rooney made a bone-headed play. I didn't expect to see what I saw. That could have changed the entire finish of that final.

No need to kick the man while hes down. EDIT: This came out a little harsher than I meant, just trying not to have a new pelican scared away.

tasty - this thread keeps getting bumped up to the top of the Tech. forum
one thing you could do is starta new thread on this subject in the General forum and then insert that URL here for folks to follow - eventually a moderator will move it I suppose...
