New computer pictures from this site not showing up??

Is there a setting that I should be enabling to get pictures to show up? 9 out of ten that have pictures are not appearing on my computer, any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Johnny O

what browser are you using? Sometimes certain browsers won't display an image that another browser will display, though the ratio shouldn't be 9 of 10.

go to the advanced tab in internet options from the tools drop down in IE, hit default incase something was changed. Maybe you allready tried that?

Get Firefox ....it's better, then worry about the pics, LOL. (If you have IE favorites saved you can import them)

here's the link.

It is preferred by all the gurus.

Ditto Firefox, it kicks IE's a$$.

Firefox is a better browser, but IE works 100% correct more often than Firefox. I've added the IEtab extension to my firefox for just that reason. If he's using IE he shouldnt' have any problems seeing pics unless the websites that the pics are posted on is timing out.

Do you have a slow connection?? That could do it. After a set period of time if you haven't downloaded the pics your browser will just pretend they aren't there.

Interesting, I have more IE issues than FF....

It's all about the file size guys; anything too large and it will display as a black box. Use any of many freeware tools to reduce your file to be under 1M and you should be all set.

Todays 6-8MP cameras provide massive files.
