A couple of pics from the concert I went to Saturday night

I haven't been to a concert since Day on the Green in Oakland back in 1980 when I saw Journey and Black Sabbath. Back then weed, other drugs, hard liquor and wine were being passed down the rows very freely. Last night, I didn't get a whiff of weed until almost the end of the show. Somethings didn't change though. There were still quite a few groupies and nasty ho's struting about trying to get laid by the band. Took a few pics but only one came out OK. Check out the fat chick with the two-tone hairdo.

Included is a pic of my 15 y/o son clownin'. We were really close to the stage but far enough not to get caught in the stampede by the groupies.

Great venue, the Konocti Harbor Resort at Clear Lake, CA. I highly recommend it if you're willing to drive 2.5 hours from SF into the wine country.

Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20 fame was the headliner. He also wrote and sang "Smooth" with Carlos Santana. Jason Mraz opened the show and rocked the house. That dude is super talented. He can play multiple instruments/write music like Thomas but he can also rap intelligibly. I'm going to buy his CD and recommend his music if you're into rock/funk or whatever it's called nowadays.

Just to be crystal clear; I smelled weed last night as it was being smoked but I didn't have any. Those days are looong gone.
