Probably a rumor but it would be pretty crazy/strange if true.
I hope its a rumor.

450knotOffice 07-11-2006 07:51 AM

I suppose anything could be true, but I'm guessing this is a rumor only.

defcon65 07-11-2006 12:36 PM

Not sure, but Syd Barrett is.

herman maire 07-11-2006 01:47 PM

Who is syd barrett?

defcon65 07-11-2006 01:50 PM

Original member of Pink Floyd - the one that took too much acid.

Scoured some of the UK websites, no mention there. This would be front page news in the UK. Probably a rumor.

Yeah, well June Allyson is dead too. Sorry June, but who really cares?..other than her family of course?

Who's June Allyson? Mrs. Cleaver?

defcon65 07-11-2006 03:13 PM

Too bad for the Commodores, they had some great hits. I heard they got their name by opening the dictionary and dropping a digit - almost hit 'commode'. Lionel Ritchie did that years later...

Big movie star of the 40's and 50's. Blonde, blue eyed girl-next-door type. A lot of movies with Van Johnson, Jimmy Stewart.

If you're younger you only might know her from the adult diaper, Depends commercials of the 80's.

I could never stand that guy. The Spinners, Ohio Players, Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes - they had front men. In comparison, Lionel Ritchie sounded like a violated cat.

June Allyson did some excellent work alongside Jimmy Stewart in The Glenn Miller Story, and Strtegic Air Command ... definitely worth owning the DVDs!

Jeremey Clarkson = Who cares?

June Allyson = Complete 50's babe! Hot with 2 t's

Commodores = Dead on cool.

Joe Bob 07-11-2006 07:11 PM

According to Chevy Chase......Generalissimo Franco is STILL dead.....

84porsche 07-11-2006 07:21 PM

Speaking of dead, did they ever find Jimmy Hoffa? And heck, isn't Elvis still alive.
