I have admittedly had some amazing experiences (in my youth) with fungi.

Next maybe they can find out where babies come from... :p

I think they may have created a whole new generation of users based on those responses. Their next study "Scientists determine that use of alcohol makes you confident and loud."

My all time favorite drug...Alas, my love affair has ended...forsooth...There were few experiences that mushrooms didn't make more interesting, or enlightening. I think there is the possibility of using mushrooms to shift consciousness beneficially...or maybe I just confused Altered States with my drug induced former psycho-reality?...I love Paddy Chayefsky...and Pink Floyd for that matter...It is all such a blur.

The last time I did shrooms was '82 with a case of Lucky Lager, eating a bag of oranges and solving the bottle cap puzzles. Good times...good times..

Last time for me was in the late 80's on the central coast of Oregon. We were down in Eugene to see the Dead and thought: Hey, lets go to the beach!

Oh wait, that was something else.

Nevermind.

First time was '77 at Leo Carrillo Beach partying with friends. I had done acid before, so shrooms were a walk in the park. Never did try peyote....

A friend (now dead) and I discovered one looong weekend that the more mushrooms you eat, the more tequila you can drink. Also, the more tequila you drink the more mushrooms you can eat.

Can't stand tequila to this day....

I've tended to LMAO on shrooms. They're fun. But for a much more 'spiritual' experience, I think nothing beats peyote.

Same with that other stuff. Alcohol seems to have no effect when dosed.

Never felt the need for drugs. I sort of like the way I feel after a strong espresso, though.

...and then there was Ecstacy(MDMA). Made mushrooms pretty obsolete.
