Castro dead?

Just a rumor, so far...

legion 07-11-2006 01:50 PM

In a way, I hope it's true.

But it will mean major turmoil in Cuba for a while.

Should the U.S. step in and help stabilize things?

Moses 07-11-2006 01:52 PM

We could send some new parts for all those 60's Chevys they are driving.

ckissick 07-11-2006 01:54 PM

And I just read the rumor about Jeremy Clarkson possibly being dead. I hope Jerey's OK, but old Fidel's demise coud be a boon for Cuba. Start making reservations for a holiday in Havana.

A quick google search seems to indicate that this rumour comes up on ocassion, particularly around March of this year.

Porsche virgin 07-11-2006 01:58 PM

Duh. Didn't you know that already? Thanks to http://www.uncoveror.com/castro.htm for telling us the truth!

CASTRO IS DEAD
CIA RUNS CUBA
Fidel Castro died in 1981, and was replaced by a look-alike CIA plant. The dictator ate tainted shellfish and died. CIA infiltrators wasted no time in covering this up, and installing an agent named Alexis Papagos to impersonate Castro, and run the country. This information comes to THE UNCOVEROR via Cuban national, Igor Davidovich Martinez.

Why, then, does the U.S. government maintain the embargo against Cuba? "The CIA is turning a great profit by selling contraband Cuban goods on the black market," says Martinez, "and they don't want to give that up." The CIA sees to it that the embargo stays.

What tipped Martinez off? Before 1981, the real Fidel Castro nearly always wore a military uniform. After that year, "Castro," really Alexis Papagos, appeared more often in civilian clothing.

This prompted Martinez, and several others to start digging. Of those who discovered this deception, only Martinez remains alive.

The plot almost failed. A few people in 1981 heard of Castro's death, and began a rumor that he had died of syphilis, but the CIA quickly made those people, some of them Americans, Disappear. They needed the world to think that Castro was still alive. They didn't want you to know, but thanks to THE UNCOVEROR, now you do.

If he is dead, I give it 6 months before Havana becomes Las Vegas south!!!

Beautiful beaches, good music and food, and a short flight away.

Also, sounds like a good place for spring training.

I just heard last week on some news program that the US has a two week (or was it two months?) plan for converting them over to our ways.

Correction. Maybe Barrett Jackson will be the first to invade.

Woo hoo! Land grab! I'll just cash out a couple investments, and...

Flatbutt1 07-11-2006 07:03 PM

pelican road trip?

cegerer 07-11-2006 07:24 PM

One can only hope ... I'm down to half a box of Cuban cigars.

speeder 07-11-2006 07:26 PM

He dies on a regular basis, according to the old rumor mill. If he ever dies for real, it'll be like the boy who cries wolf deal. No one will believe it.

You know they roll those nasty things on the thighs of Cuban virgins - fat, hairy, pockmarked thighs of Cuban virgins. :p

BlueSkyJaunte 07-11-2006 09:57 PM

"Take this bus to Cuba!"

US companys missed the boat in Cuba. The Germans and Spanish already have the tourist industry down there. Ask me how I know :)

Damn glad I went before the Americans come in and turn the place into McCuba.

Some fine summer nights walking along the water front in Havana with a Cohiba in one hand and bottle of 12 year old rum in the other. And the Cuba women....daaaaaammmmmmnnn. Friendly too. :)

Precisely. This time around hopefully it will be minus a modern day Batista, and more of a fun loving Caribbean crowd in charge.

legion 07-12-2006 08:24 AM

So...I'm not hearing anything in the legit media about Castro being dead...
