An old student of mine rented a 182 and flew it to Burning Man. He said it was pretty crazy and he definately would not do it with a nice airpane.

IIRC it's just NorthEast of Reno right?

Black Rock City, up near Pyramid Lake. It's pretty primitive, has been taken over by the crazies, and the out-of-control morons.

Was great once, but has gotten a bad rep and rap.
