Democratic Partys Problem
 

Lyndon B Johnson was the LAST Democratic President that was willing to use Military Power. Both Carter and Clinton were weak sisters or diasters when it came to Foreign Policy and the use of Miitary power to exert our authority.

Every time National Security has been a frontline issue the Democrats have lost the election for the President. Remember whats his name riding in the tank that Bush 1 trounced.....This has been the case ever since the McGovern faction took over the Democratic Party back in 1972.

The reason for this sorry state of affairs is that the Anti-Vietnam War Baby Boomers have now come of age and have assumed the reigns of power in the Liberal camp...they see nothing but apppeasement of our enemies, that America is at fault and if only we cleaned up our act and acted altruistically for the betterment of mankind our enemies would lay down their arms and we all could sing Kum By Ya. Unfortunately to act altruisitcally we would have to give up our SUVS and Widescreen TVs...cause it wasn't by acting altruistically that we aquired them...it was by hard work, being shrewd and using force when necessary that got us to where we are now. Unfortunately the Baby Boomers don't realize this..since during their lifetimes they have been given nothing but prosperity in comparison to their forebearers. Then there are just those enemies who just plain want to take away what we have for their own gain..and again the Liberals just think that if you understand our eneimies they will become our friends.

In conclusion the Liberals don't know when or where to draw the line in the sand and say we are going to take a stand here. They would rather live in the neblous world of can't we all just get along..

True for some, tabs, but not for all. No more than all Republicans are bomb throwing "nuke 'em till they glow" hawks. Some leadership on both ends may be radical, but I doubt if the (what used to be called) the "silent majority" thinks in the same terms. Its just that those who scream the loudest are the ones who get the headlines, even if what they say is irrational, illogical and somewhat insane!!

I'm not forgetting the Clinton Years....

When Somilia offered Osamas head to the USA...Cliton thought well I don't have any legal grounds to take him...the Clinton admin handled Terrorism as a crime and not as an act of war... What he do after the 1st WTC attack?

When the US Embassys in Africa were bombed Cliton fired off a coupla cruise missle that hit an empty camp.

When 20 US soldiers were killed in Somilia Cliton pulled out the troops...

HE NEVER PUT OUR MILITARY IN HARMS WAY, He was in other words not willing to use military force even when it was called for to maintain National Security.

Ohhh yeah Kosovo...again it was only American Airpower that was used and what a stink went up in the air when one of our fighters went down...

Being Commander in Chief requires that U be willing to risk the lives of your military forces to maintain your National Security.

Democrats are not willing to use the muscle cause they don't have the stomach for it...

The Dems lack the courage to risk what they have in order to maintain their Freedom. Sometimes U have to draw the line in the sand and say no more.

Well Money look who is in control of the Democratic Party..Pellossi, Shumer, Teddy, Boxer and Howard Dean....

Take a look at the trouble Lieberman is having in CT since he voted FOR THE WAR...he may have to run as an Indie....his reelection is in serious doubt...

Bushes policy with regards to N korea is dead on....6 party talks....Japan, China, Russia, USA, S Korea and N Korea.

N Korea poses the greatest threat to their neighbors not the USA ...China has the greatest sway with N Korea...let them take care of little Kim...But to go into direct talks with the N Koreans is to do what they want....to give into the little maniac. Kim knows that with the others on board he can't get away with the same stuff he can with the USA...and thats because we aren't on the frontlines like they are....get it...

N Korea has had a history of being obtuse in their discussions with the world. They will talk and obstruficate until you want to pull your hair and still nothing will get accomplished...the only thing that impresses the N Koreans is the will to use force no matter what it costs...Just take a look at the Korean War dialogs.

Yeah Fint and as I explained the leadership is all controled by Anti-Vietnam Baby Boomer War Protestors. The lets get High generation...everything can be resolved by a hit of cronic...and if that doesn't work there is always rehab where we can blame Mommy and Daddy for being so materialistic.

I loved Bolton's response in the Senate hearings, whe asked why we don't get down to business and deal with DPRK directly, like Bill Clinton...

I think if Clinton hadn't played with the girls, and Gore had been a better Presidential candidate--not to mention Kerry--the Democrats would still be in the White House. They have poor leadership.
