Finally a clever VW ad, not work safe
 

Okay, maybe it is work safe, but I felt I should put that disclaimer.

You don't even realize it is a VW advertisement until you think about it a second. On the front cover it is the three smiling faces and it says "The Return of the Girls Next Door" at the top of the masthead. Oh and on further investigation, "Holly" does not have a rabbit tramp stamp.

On the contrary, I've found VW's advertising to be some of the best out there. It's always memorable, funny and one remembers the product for it.

I liked the unpimp my ride ones, the ones about "The Fast" silly, but sort of a cool little statuette. Low ego emmisions? Well I guess I sort of would like that badge to stick on my 914

Thats a great add it almost made me forget VW and Audi are sister companies.

Someone posted a link to a video ad for some German eyeglass company - a mix-up between a gearshift knob and another sort of knob - does anyone still have that link?
