We lost a wonderful little boy.
This past Monday my 11 month old son died unexpectedly. To say that this has been a trying week is an understatement. The support from friends, family and the community has been overwhelming. It has been wonderful to know so many care so much. However, as the new week begins and everyone goes back to their lives, my wife, our 3-year old son and myself are left to pick up the shattered remains of our lives. To begin this next chapter of our lives. The chapter without Aiden.
I only write this because of the support this community has provided to others in the past. I don't need flowers and I don't need food. Brian, I am really sorry to hear of your loss. My family and I will pray for you and yours.

I can't imagine what your family is going through. You are right, your friends on this forum are right here for you. Be strong and know that hundreds if not thousands of folks have you and your family in their thoughts and prayers tonight.

I cannot imagine the pain your family is enduring. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
This happened to a MINI owner 2 years ago when I owned my MINi and was very active with them. He lost his infant daughter and I remember how that broke my heart. I had met this guy a couple of time, my wife saw me sobbing at my computer one night. I was organizing a MINI only driving school and ended up giving every cent collected to his sons Memorial Fund that donated to the Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is the hospital that treated his daughter and fought to try to save her. From the news article. Quote:

A life cut short before it has even had a chanch to begin is a terrible thing. A quietness where that life once was prevades the house. A void now exists where once that space was filled with the brightness of a child...There is no gauging the depth of sorrow U feel, of the might have beens and memories that will never take place. The only solace U have is that you Loved the little one and did everything in your power. Life goes on a step at a time, and sometimes you don't know how you will make it. But rest assured in time the pain of the loss dulls even though the Love you feel never does.
