You should get some neon on that car!!

Coming back from a date I had last night, which was a blast but that is another thread, I stopped at Taco Bell. It was around 12:30AM or so. I order my food and I can tell that it is some little teenage girl by the the sound of her voice. So I pull up to the drive through window and the girl says "wow nice car, what kind and what year is that?" So I tell her its a 91 Porsche 944S2 Cab. She then asks how much it cost. So I tell her that it was most likley cheaper than here parents new vehicle. Then she hits me with the kicker. "That would look really cool with some neon on the underside". I did not even bother responding to that one and took my food and went on my way.

Your first mistake was going to Taco Bell.

Retards and the runs, that's what I think of the Bell. Pretty good when you're drunk though.

Due to the vast amounts of lard and fat they cook with, I call that place Taco Belly. 'Cause that's what it gives you.

As for the neon look - eh, no. But what did you expect from a Taco Belly window person working a part time job and still in high school? At least she didn't say your car needs a 'bling bling' wing on the back!

At least she has a job, noticed the car and felt it cool enough to make a comment. Cut her some slack, neon is her generation as much as Cragar wheel's and Jensen Triaxe's were to mine.

Lets face it, we did, said or held in importance things just as innane or silly at that age and older folks had the same "what are kids now a days thinking" reaction.

i try to avoid fast food as much as possible. that being said, i think taco bell is one of the better places to eat when there are no other
choices than the rest of the fast places. at least you can get rice at a taco bell. as far as the lard goes, just don't do it every day.

don't get me wrong, i love hamburgers.....i just don't think that bk or macdonalds serve a decent burger.

p.s. i was told by a cute young[18 or 19 maybe] girl that my beck 550 would be really cool if i got some rims. wow.

Ah, Jensen Triaxes!

The ultimate audiophile component of my HS years. Along with a Craig tape deck

Harumph! Porsche nothing--my Subaru is the #1 most respected car among Taco Bell staff and guys who gather up shopping carts in supermarket parking lots. We've won that class in J.D. Power every year since they introduced the WRX.

Oddly enough, I received a compliment on my 944 Turbo from a Taco Bell drive thru worker a few years ago. Something like, "whoa, that must have cost you". I think I responded with, "not really". Then he gave me my food, which was of course wrong, and later gave me the runs.
