Blade the series
 

I'm not a big fan of horror movies in general but I found the blade movies pretty interesting. Maybe it is something about the vampire myth in general, immortal beings that can be killed by simple sunlight or a wood steak.
Anyway I started watching the series, the guy isn't as good as Wesley Snipes but the show has a pretty good plot.
Although I doubt a vampire would ride a Harley :D
Anyone else watching?

The show's all right.. But I think the guy playing blade is severely lacking in range ;-) Not the best "actor", you know... He's got one mood: pissed off.. Ok, we get it.. Thank goodness for the brunette !

The guy in the series seems more ghetto than the one in the movies.

I was part of a focus group who got to see the pilot prior to airing--with the little dial--what do you like, what don't you like, blah blah blah. I have to say the pilot we were shown was freakin' terrible. Too much time spent on searching around abandoned alleys, buildings, a hospital, etc. and it dragged on forever.

I never did watch the final cut of the pilot--just wondering if he still has the oriental sidekick, is the lead female still a gulf war vet, is randy quaid still in the series as the old professor, and did they show more lesbianism and breasts(these two were my written suggestions).

One of the many story lines they have is that he was taken in by a gang and turned them all into vampires. Supposedly the tats originated from that gang. For now the multiple stories keep things interesting but they are on the verge of getting too busy. Let's see we got Blade Vs all vampires, pure breed vampires Vs turned vampires, cops trying to hunt down the vampires, vampire double agents, and the weird little blond girl vampire, just to name a few.

Yeah the main actor may be a little weak... but the character he plays seems to be in a constantly pissed off mode.
