I thought about going to see it... but then I decided to stay home and poke myself in the eye with a sharp stick instead.

Besides that if I left home I might miss watching the dog take a poo in the yard.

If that thing doesn't make 1/2 a billion $$, it will be the biggest disappointment in the modern history of Hollywood. How was it?

bryanthompson 08-18-2006 08:04 AM

I'm planning on seeing it. Was it everything you thought it would be? ;)

Porsche-O-Phile 08-18-2006 08:16 AM

I'd rather watch golf on TV. Or bash myself repeatedly in the nuts with a tack hammer.

let me start by saying that i was the oldest one[56] in the theater. most of the audience was way less than half my age, very loud , backwards caps , cell phones left on ,etc. in spite of all that , i loved it. if you go see this with low expectations you will have a great time. it is all at once thrilling, funny, gory, a real rollercoaster ride. get some popcorn[real butter please] check your brain at the door, and enjoy. i sure did.

I am SO seeing this movie. The story behind the movie is very interesting as well ... the fanboyz actually shaped the movie and there were 5 days of re-shoot to accommodate the new ideas.

And I'm also seeing next summer's high concept film: Sharks on a Bus!!!!!

They asked this question last night at Angels stadium- 83% of those who voted were not going to see it. I am definitely not. Hope you enjoyed it.

According to the surgeon general, watching your dog take a dump is the leading cause of stys.

Well, I don't know - I hope this movie makes a mint. After all, isn't something this outlandish one of the reasons for cinema entertainment?

If you listen to Ridley Scott talk about "Alien," you'll hear that the movie was concepted under much of the same B-rate pretext.

I've always stayed away from zombie movies. But then I saw the recent "Day of the Dead," where the main characters are holed up in a shopping mall. That was a very cool, rock 'em sock 'em movie.

There is so much Hollyweird hype for this movie, it is sad. The junk they force on us these days really annoys me.

I am eagerly awaiting Sharks On A Bus though. ;)
