Bad Porsche Parade Stories
What was your worst Porsche Parade. Were you in the wrong class and they wounldn 't move you to the right one, "sorry it's to late" or "your car has to much chrome", "it didn't come that way" thing like that.

Well, there was that one recently where a longtime owner - still driving his speedster with over 700,000 miles on it, who had been to every parade to date - was refused a spot because too many others had already got in, even though registration was still "open".

I will chime in here...Porsche parade goes to Hershey...finally close enough for me to go to it...As a PAYING PCA MEMBER..i figured it would be cool. Get to Hershey (mind you it is 2.5 hours + from my house) just to see the cars, not show, just take the show in...denied...was told that the show was sold out and as I did not preregister, I was not allowed to even enter the show....cancelled my membership and will NEVER again be a PCA member. Wrote sevral hatefull letters to various PCA bigwigs and never heard a thing back,Bunch of assclowns that are just buying their lifestyles....

Nick, that's ridiculous that you couldn't even get INTO the show. Why not? They wouldn't let you park your car elsewhere and walk in?!?

The speedster with 700K on the clock should be considered an honorary guest at any p-event including free entry and when not driving, displayed in a place of honor.
There are times when smart people see the big picture and do the right thing even if against the "rules". This was a time when it should have happened. Shameful. Positively shameful. angela

Thank you for your repsonses on this matter. I'm not trying to steer the up the pot but we buy these cars because we like them, we go to these events because we think they are fun, we spend our money some more than others to get to these events and it's not right that ANYONE should go home with bad fellings because somone now has "The Power". Let's hear more!
