1966 Ferrari 330 GT / 4 litre Coupe ("One-offs" built by Michelotti) Was at the Christies Monterey auction on the 17th.
More info: http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z11853/default.aspx http://www.qv500.com/Ferrari%20330%20P3%201.jpg "A number of 330 GT's were either manufactured or re-bodied when nearly new with coachwork to unique designs by some of Italy’s most famous carrozzeria'. Michelotti re-bodied two 330 GT's, both of which were completed with basically similar profiles. The first car, chassis 6109 GT, was a targa-style Spyder with prominent sail panels and an integral roll-hoop, Michelotti executing the whole design quite admirably. However, the detailing of this car was a little over-elaborate, particularly down the sides where a matt black and chrome stripe was found. The subsequent Coupe built on chassis 9083 GT followed a similar theme, albeit with a closed roof, fixed rear windscreen and thankfully, no sylised side trim." http://img.prewarcar.com/prewar/cars..._ID127_400.jpg http://files.conceptcarz.com/img/Fer...Y-06-GW_02.jpg |
Thanks, it's pretty !
I was hoping that was some obscure cheap car, but it had to be a ferrari ! Oh well, I'll keep looking for a nice 912 or ALfa GT then ! |
LOL, it kind of looks like a Corvair from the rear.
I'm not sure what it sold for but pre auction estimates were $300k - $400k. |
I like the silve one in front of it better. Abarth Carrera?
|
Yup...
|
Could have been a Fiat for all I know. Darn pretty though.
