Pre Season Football...
Being a Carolina guy...those Panthers are looking pretty solid.
Hope to see them do well this year. Also, I was just glad to see that ESPN was doing Monday Night Football. I was affraid NBC screwed up my Monday night plans with their Sunday Night Football stuff!....haha PS...A buddy sent me an invite to this forum. First day member and first poster. Hello to all.

Los Angeles doesn't need a football team... we just root for the team that is playing against the raiders.
Green bay looked good in the game I saw but apparently they sucked in the previous game, hope they do well. ESPN doing Monday night football? As in you have to get cable or satellite to watch Monday night football? That sucks! Da Bears

The Raiders are 4-0. Historically, a good preseason has always been a clear indicator that they would have a ****ty regular season. Unfortunately, a ****ty pre-season has not meant they would enjoy a good regular season either lately. I've been a Raiders fan since birth. It's tough sometimes

Me three. I've been a Raider fan back to the Madden/Stabler days - before there was a Raider Nation, and "Just win, baby!" meant something to the players.
L.A. already has a pro football team - The USC Trojans.

Season tickets in Oakland since 1964 with my dad. Now I have season tickets with my son. Great stuff.

Preseason sucks. I am forced to pay $70 per game - no choice as a season ticket holder. It's an overhyped scrimmage with mostly players who will not make the teams. It's difficult to give the tickets away.
Rant over. Go Rams!!!

Its going to be another loooong year for my hometown team, the Detroit Lions.
They just lack talent in all areas. Millen has wasted 3 Top 10 draft choices in the past 4 years and overall has been a joke of a GM. The coaching staff is good, but they are not miracle workers. The real problem with the Lions is that they have been trying to build on an unstable foundation for over 45 years. Nothings changed. Nothing will change soon. |

Anyone heard if there is going to be a Lost Angeles team (obviously not this season)? They made a big whoop about it several months ago... they set up stages and had trucks with the team logos and for two days they made a bunch of noise and I saw some TV and Radio people around here (the Colosseum) then it all piddled away.
Personally I don't want them (whoever) to come to the Colosseum because it is about a hundred yards from where I work and it would seriously f-up my commute on any game day.
