Just went for a drive (pics)

I just got back from a nice drive with a friend of mine. We took off from San Jose this morning at 7:30am and went up Mt. Hamilton Rd. and ended up coming back on Mines Road through Livermoore. Great fun till my buddy got sick.

This is Mt. Hamilton road just below the Lick Observatory.

I fly by the Lick Observatory every day on my way out of SJC airport and always scan those roads down there as I'm flying by. They look like a great drive! Funny thing is I was was just looking at the Observatory today wondering if there was a nice public road to get up there (like the road down in SoCal that leads to the Mt. Palomar Observatory). You might have been down there climbing that road while I was looking down at it from above.

It looks like you had a great time.

Ah, another beautiful tail less Carrera. And no front lip neither from what I can see in the pic. Clean and handsome.

And your climate.. I need to change latitude. Its been raining for almost a month here now..Not much Porsche driving.

Thats pretty cool Scott. Yeah, we had a blast! There was absolutely no one on the road when we went. I'll have to get some of those air liner barf bags for my buddy next time.

Thank you. I kind of have a fondness for the little red beasty.

I love that road. Good thing you have a front bumper license plate. The local cop was gives tickets there for missing one.

I haven't been up there since the late 70's. Our first house in the valley was right at the foot of the hills below the Observatory.
