Got a puppy - a puggle

Here's the newest addition to the Thompson zoo... His name is Riley, and he's a 9 week old Puggle (Pug/Beagle) mix.

Looks like this mixed breed ended up with the best characteristics of both breeds. May he enjoy a long & happy life with you.

That puppy is MUCH cutter that the name of the breed implies (I was almost afraid to look)!

Teach it to lay down on command. If it starts howling that's the only way to get it to stop.

Don't ask me how I know...

Cheers,

Paul.

Holy cow, I heard his howl for the first time a few minutes ago. Weak bark, but quite a howl on him!

I'm looking for a good doggie kindergarden, and am thinking about going with this 'clicker training.' I picked up a book called, "the last dog training book you'll ever need," that tralks about it a lot. Anyone tried it?
