I see. Moving with the business or in pursuit of a certain Swedish blond ? ;) What do you do for a living ? Even without taxes, a Ford GT or a 997 GT3 RS will hurt the wallet substantially (if you don´t mind my asking).

The Ford GT is wonderful. Of course, I have never even seen one in the metal. Could you elaborate a bit on how it is to drive. How does it compare to the 996 ?

Simple,I' m a diamond dealer.I have started my business here in Dubai 5 years ago.
It was difficult for me to change my GT3 for the Ford,only because the GT3 was such a fantastic car(can you be in love with a car??).
I made a lot of trackdays with it and it was always perfect.
I have made a couple of trackdays with the GT as well.Simply amazing but totally different:power(550HP),exhaust sound,...Need to have them both...

I suppose the Ford GT does not lend itself to much of DIY maintenance ?

I have spent some time in Saudi Arabia and Yemen. If I had a Ford GT, I would never have driven it in that traffic. Crazy. Does not seem to be any rules at all.

The penalty for living in Dubai is that you MUST have a modern car with effective A/C......lol. Funny part is the RS should still cost less than the GT40 which stickered for less than a box stock F360/430 when it first came out. I hope you have the resources to keep them both.

funny........Michelin doesn't have a plant there do they? lol. I'm sure there is an even safer town in the old German areas of Pennsylvania called Abstinence to counter the town of Intercourse.:D can't help but notice the multiple cartoon pics of "le coque" below the name of the town......har, har, hardy har har.
