Random timers/ home mad traffic light question

Ok this is kinda a weird post but anyway. Im looking for some help on finding a timer or some type of random switching unit. I have a old traffic light and would like to make it work but I dont want all the lights on or just one, I was thinking it would be cool if it could randomly or even in some type of pattern switch the lights on and of automaticaly. I cant find any kinda unti that would do that. They have regular house light timers but thats not going to be able to turn 3 different lights on and off at different times. SO any of you electrical gurus or people who just like to paly with stuff, If You could help me out with some links or info or ideas that Would Be GREAT, I cant wait to get this thing working in my garage ;-)

Put each light on it's own timer?

Yea I thought about that too but I figured there was a esier way to do it, Maybe I will make my own timer. I have seen them working at bars and stuff but they are usually not real traffic lights ;-)

Well, Im gonna pull out the big traffic light bulbs and put new regular 60w bulbs and sockets in and run it off a regular house outlet. Nothing crazy.

I've seen light flashers that are the size of a quarter and go in the base of a standard incandesent light bulb holder. Alternatively, you can just wire a standard fluorescent light starter in series with each bulb: http://www.epanorama.net/circuits/simpleflasher.html
