They're only going to make something like 20,000 a year when production ramps up (which is very small for GM). There are about a dozen here in B/N.

Yes I know used Vs new is always a better deal, it is just that I got all excited about a small American sports car. The pictures in the magazines looked great, then I saw a few of them on the street... ugh... just not working for me.

Besides the money difference the Boxster looks better, handles better, is more comfortable, and have more storage. On that level I will roll the dice on the RMS, plus a used Boxster could still be under warranty.

Doesn't the RMS issue only affect 2.5s? I want a 2.7 or 3.2...

If I were going to spend the money I would go for the "S" also.

I hear the whole RMS thing is over blown anyway, sure it happens but it's not like on every other car.

I think it's overblown, but I didn't want to risk it, which is part of why I went with the Z4. There was also the longer warranty and included maintenance, which I wouldn't have gotten with a $25k Boxster.

Another thing I don't care for in the Solstice/Sky is that you can't lower or raise the top from inside the car. Compare to the new Miata where the top is easily lowered or raised from the driver's seat with one hand.
