Had a client ask for a last minute project and if it was not bad enough that there was barely time to get it done one of the developers never delivered a key video component so I had to build it from scratch.

The disc needed to be in Vancouver for a show on Sunday.

Thursday night I had a hard drive crash and lost about 5 hours of work.

I missed FedEx Friday and figured I'd just do SonicAir door to door.

Turns out that since 911 the TSA has put in restrictions for International packages that get placed on commercial airliners and none of my FedEx or UPS accounts qualified anymore.

So now I'm sweating it thinking that I'll be on a plane from NY to Vancouver tonight.

I posted here for a pelican in Vancouver with a DVD burner and Creature answered the call.

Turns out he lives about 15 minutes from where the disc needed to be delivered. I posted the file to my FTP server, he downloaded it, burned the disc for me and delivered it to my clients hotel.

So CreatureCat is the man of the hour. Saved my day in a big way.

And thanks to Wayne for providing this great place and thanks to the rest of you for keeping it so entertaining.
