Fantasy Football

Would you trade Clinton Portis for Byron Leftwich?

I have J. Delhomme as a QB and he is sucking without Steve Smith.

My other running backs are Frank Gore and Mike Bell.

NO NO and NO. Unless you have some goofy ass scoring system that is a terrible trade.

I'm just thinking Portis might not get too healthy this season.

I didn't play him last week. I'm debating this week.

No way....

a starting top-10 stud RB such as Portis has more value than ANY starting QB...(Manning, Palmer, McNabb) and certainly Leftwich.

Pick up a FA QB and keep Portis.

Assuming standard scoring yes.

I play in a league that gives 1pt - 20yds, 6pt - TD, and 1pt per completion! The top QB's rule that league, but generally RB's are the standard.

Its a Yahoo league. I think RB's get more points overall.

I think I'll play Portis this week. I also have Frank Gore who should do well. I'll put Mike Bell on the bench.

There are twelve teams in this league so there aren't too many FA's that are worth much.

Portis is too much of a stud. Scored a TD without being healthy enough to play.

I would never trade him. I could find a FA QB to live with, Portis is going to put up HUGE numbers this year!
