An idea - Car storage in New Jersey

Would you be interested/willing to winter store your Porsche in a storage "Pod" (a shipping crate type thing) which is water tight, rodent proof, secure, and could be placed on your property only for the months needed? The cost might be something like $150/month. I thought this might work but wanted opinons.
Thanks,
C

I have a container-size storage pod on my property right now ... they are only 8 feet wide, so it would be tight to put a car in. I think it cost $60/month, with a $75 fee for both pick-up and delivery.

If you are talking about starting a business, I think you'll have lots of competition. As a storage solution for you, if you have room to place the container, go for it.

Nope, not thinking of starting a business as much as testing for both my own use and to see if this is opportunity for a friend's active Pod company.
Thanks,
C

Thanks. Good to know about the barn. Sorry, but I am in Mass, but desperate enught to drive a good ways.
I also found out that combustibles are not allowed in my friend's Pods. So this idea is toast.

Wish you were closer

I agree that the pod idea is too expensive as proposed here.

In the past when I needed a garage to store cars I put a "wanted to rent" ad in the local paper and on the bulliten boards at local supermarlets. Works like a charm.
