Financing in Puerto Rico
My company is considering expanding distribution of large capital equipment (medical) in P.R. I've heard that it can be difficult, or even impossible to get financing, even for large, solid institutions. Privately owned imaging centers and clinics are supposedly, even tougher. I've heard from others that financing is a piece of cake, although basis points are a bit higher.
Does anyone have any experience in commercial financing in PR and / or the Carribbean? Thanks! |

I know that we are building some apartments in Puerto Rico and are working with some local banks for construction and perm financing.
It is important that you know someone that understand hows things work on the island, which is really slow.
