Tron 2.0

Check it out:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1104001/

This could be a hit, or a really big miss... I'm looking forward to it regardless. The first one had the coolness factor of ninjas when I was a kid.

TR2N is how it's titled.

We're shooting it in Vancouver, Principal Photography is 4/06/2009-7/08/2009. I looked at the proposed costume material yesterday, very cool. Don't khtnow when it will come out. Post production work is through August 2010.

Hugh - you gotta get the marketing folks to use Tron Guys photo on the posters...

Cool, I have the original on DVD now, still looks good.

Jeff Bridges is scheduled to be in this one again. Hmm. Might be good.

I liked the original Tron. This new one with all the latest effects should be great!

For the users!

Do you mind if I ask who wrote the screenplay?

Do you have any personal contact with Steven Lisberger?

Is there any way you could get a message to him?

Yes, I am serious.

If you do have access to him, I'll explain in detail in a PM.

It would mean a lot.

Thanks.

Sorry, don't know him. Hugh would be your best bet, but he might never meet him.

I caught it on TV a while back and was surprised at how well it has held up, still a good movie.

I did wonder if they would ever do a sequel and what they could do with CGI.

Back when it was released most of my friends were computer programers so it was a big hit with us.

I hope it doesn't flop ala "Star Wars"

"Star war... nothing but star wars... if they should ever bar wars..."

Vancouver. Runaway production. Budget, over 100 million.
