Hehehe... that was the CHP 580 Squad Club fundraiser held this past weekend. From what I understand, the CHP closed down the 101 freeway for about 20 miles and 150+ exotics were conducting top speed exercises, some at 200mph!

Gotta wonder how many $$$ drove by in that under 2 minute video. I'd be nervous. I saw a whole lot of following too close.

Was that "120" as very fast? And was that an old 308 or a 512BB that got passed on the on-ramp? Shucks, I shoulda taken old skool on that run. Even a 944 turbo coulda played

Sheez!!! How come Ive never heard about this? Where do I sign up for next year!?!? Be worth it just to hear all those exotic engines at once.
Really surprised the CHiPs would allow/sponsor this. Looked like there were some regular motorists/SUVs on the road. |
