Buggergate

Interesting graphic that Faux is running - notice anything fishy?

(D-Fl) != (R-Fl)

Nice.

Aside from a most probable on-screen typo, is Foley now blaming his sexual transgressions on Republicans?

legion 10-04-2006 09:18 AM

An easy mistake to make.

He's been accused of a crime and has managed to blame everyone but himself.

cmccuist 10-04-2006 09:19 AM

CNN did the same thing with Gary Condit a few years back - gave him the (R-CA) designation. He was in a Rep majority district, but he was a Dem. Hard to believe both instances were/are mistakes.

LOL! What tools (Faux).

dd74 10-04-2006 09:25 AM

I'd like to know what the rest of that ticker tape says.
"Victims with a drug used to stop breathing"
I mean, can this thing get any more deviant, perceived or otherwise?

Moneyguy1 10-04-2006 09:29 AM

But FOX is "Fair and Balanced", Right?

Right. Sometimes the perp is labelled a Rep, sometimes the perp is labelled a Dem. :p

Looks like this meme has taken on a life of it's own:

It's no "meme". Clearly, being rejected as he has by the evil and intolerant Republicans, Foley has been welcomed with open arms by the open-minded, tolerant Democrats. It's just the natural progression of the miss-understood and victimized.

LOL! :D

teenerted1 10-05-2006 03:20 PM

should have taken a clip later in the same interview when they took the "D" away....seems the dems. didnt want him either

techweenie 10-05-2006 04:17 PM

Faux ran the "D" identification three times before "catching" it.

But that didn't stop them from their headlong rush to find every possible way to make Foley's transgressions the fault of the Democrats.

It's no wonder Faux News is losing audience so fast. They've never been much more than the Pravda of the Republican party.

...and their shabby "journalism" is just embarrassing them.

They are now actively ignoring the fact that Foley's whistleblower (gee, that sounds bad) was a Republican. They're trying to blame Foley's "outing" on Democrats. I say, if there's one Republican left with the moral fiber to stand up, they should be acclaiming the guy.
